このコジーの名前の由来となった紫黄水晶（しおうすいしょう）とは、アメトリンとも呼ばれ、アメジスト（紫水晶）の紫色とシトリン（黄水晶）の黄色が一つの結晶内に共存するバイカラー（二色性）の水晶で、両方の性質を併せ持ち、精神性と現実世界の調和をもたらすとされています。
